Why did I create this site? Some of my happiest memories are of my family sitting around the table playing a card game. We didn't have a lot of money, but we had a lot of fun playing games together. It was a way to relax and let off steam. It was amazing how special, fortunate and lucky I felt as a child when I got a good hand of cards or managed to beat the adults. No matter what your circumstances are in life, a simple card game can make you feel special and give great joy, if only for a few fleeting moments.
But isn't that what life is all about? The simple moments of triumph or luck spent with the ones we love?
Since those days I've travelled all over the world and played games of chance and skill sometimes even supporting myself on my winnings. (By the way, I don't recommend gambling as a career) but by far the happiest and most loved times I've spent playing a card game was the times I've spent with friends and family, just playing for fun.
So read the Card Game Rules of your favorite game and gather a few family members and or friends and have some fun. Just keep it light and simple and remember that the playing is what it is all about, not the winning.
